An epic game of football was finally decided by an exquisite finish from Lauren Quinn. This game had everything with both teams wanting to win; even though, it was a preseason friendly. It was Chester who took an early lead; however, that was soon cancelled out by Kelly Salmon. The opposition went onto take the lead after a huge amount of possession. The visitors went in at half time 2-1 up.

The second half kicked off and Leam were on the ascendancy and it wasn't long before Katie Quinn equalised. Leam Couldn't hold on for long though as Chester took the league once again - it was to be for the last time though. Annabel Legg, with a mazy-run in the box scored from an acute angle, to make it 3-3. This game looked to be heading for a draw, until Lauren Quinn popped up with a cracking finish from outside the box to earn a hard fought victory for the Leam. An excellent game with both teams giving 100%
